Its been a hell of a year and a hell of a journey for Lounge. Beginning in 1989, as one of the first restaurant cross over nightclubs in Melbourne, lounge has had a huge history in the Melbourne club scene supporting both heavy hitting locals, and international acts. But in 2010 the winds of change have been re-directed towards Lounge. So what does this mean for you the punter:- Well for starters, there is more comfy seating, couches, booths an the ever popular Lounge balcony.There is a new menu featuring more familiar food and some extra tasty dishes, not to mention the new tapas menu, (oh wait i just did). Lounge has also changed the musical format. now DJs start at 9pm playing a unique and mixed bag of literally all styles (except maybe pop), mixing from house to hip-hop, old skool rock fused with a touch of Disco.. You name it you will probable hear it! But the best way to explain it is for you to come and see it for your self. And late in the night the DJS still pick it up for the dance floor heads. And then there is the ever improving cocktails list offering both contemporary and original cocktails. Finally.....to top it all off Lounge now comes with a free set of steak knives.
