SUNDAY @ Lounge Queens Birthday Eve

This Queens birthday eve why not indulge yourself in some original LIVE music at Lounge. And for this special event we welcome ‘Planet Jumper’ (Revolver) to the stage to dish out some funky and phat beats, followed by the original Live electro group ‘Roxy Moron”, featuring vocalist, bass guitar and Jase B on Synth and keyboards. And then from 1am we welcome the ROBOTHEQUE crew to Lounge as they dish out some tasty tech house, electro and banging beats into the wee hours of the morning. Combine is happy to announce that SMASH BANG will be playing LIVE on stage once a month Upstairs at Lounge on the first Saturday of each month.

The next big show is planned for the 5th of September so makesure you come down and check out Luke McD and friends smash it out with left of center original tunes. Plus DJs T-Rek and Nic Coleman,.. there is no reason why you should be anywhere else!!

THE WINDS OF CHANGE ARE HERE at LOUNGE

Its been a hell of a year and a hell of a journey for Lounge. Beginning in 1989, as one of the first restaurant cross over nightclubs in Melbourne, lounge has had a huge history in the Melbourne club scene supporting both heavy hitting locals, and international acts. But in 2010 the winds of change have been re-directed towards Lounge. So what does this mean for you the punter:- Well for starters, there is more comfy seating, couches, booths an the ever popular Lounge balcony.There is a new menu featuring more familiar food and some extra tasty dishes, not to mention the new tapas menu, (oh wait i just did). Lounge has also changed the musical format. now DJs start at 9pm playing a unique and mixed bag of literally all styles (except maybe pop), mixing from house to hip-hop, old skool rock fused with a touch of Disco.. You name it you will probable hear it! But the best way to explain it is for you to come and see it for your self. And late in the night the DJS still pick it up for the dance floor heads. Just check out the growing list of local talent involved:- Luke McD, Nick Coleman, Agent 86, Matty Radovitch, Mr Moonshine, Citizen.com, Mr Nice, Darren Coburn, Tahl, Muska, Snowie, PCP, Popeye, Tom Ellis and many many more. And then there is the ever improving cocktails list offering both contemporary and original cocktails. Finally.....to top it all off Lounge now comes with a free set of steak knives.
